The region of Sol\u010dava is comprised of three valleys: Robanov Kot, Matkov Kot and Logar Valley, one of the most beautiful glacial Alpine valleys in Europe.<\/h4>\n\t

Logar Valley Landscape Park boasts over 40 registered natural attractions and the CIPRA Future in the Alps award for the management of its protected areas.<\/h4>\n\t

The park was also awarded the Slovenia Green Park label as part of the Green Scheme of Slovenian Tourism. The valley offers numerous activities in both summer and winter, as well as accommodation. Sol\u010dava is unique for high-altitude self-sufficient farms, many of which open their doors to tourists.<\/h4>\n\t

Most of them are located either in the Robanov Kot Landscape Park, a 5-kilometer glacial valley, or in Matkov Kot, the smallest of the three valleys. The valley derives its name from a farm called Matk that has stood there for as long as anyone can remember. The farmers will happily serve you homemade specialties, including a special local cured meat, Upper Savinja Pork Stomach.<\/p>\n\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>

Starting in Sol\u010dava, the Sol\u010dava panoramic road takes you in the footsteps of shepherd Kri\u0161tof, a path he was said to have followed in search of his lost sheep.<\/h4>\n\t

You can embark on this 37-kilometer journey by foot, bike, motor bike or by car. Along the way, you can indulge in magnificent views of the surrounding peaks and numerous cultural and natural heritage gems, including a mineral water spring. This water is high in iron and carbon dioxide content. It is unique to this part of Slovenia and tastes somewhat unusual but is said to have healing powers. Rinka Waterfall is one of the most beautiful, famous, and visited waterfalls in Slovenia.<\/h4>\n\t

It is the first of many Savinja River sources. It reaches maximum flow in the spring and fall. Its highest stage is 90 meters while its total height is 105. To the right of Rinka Waterfall stands the Eagle\u2019s Nest, a small panoramic pavilion offering exceptional views of the tumbling waterfall. Palenk Waterfall can also be found in the Logar Valley. It is most often visited in winter as an attractive spot for ice climbers.<\/p>\n\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>
