Lake Plan\u0161ar, the heart-shaped lake, was dammed by the locals as a tribute to the original glacial lake after which the town was named.<\/h4>\n\t

As a symbol of Jezersko, it is its most attractive sight and a popular walking destination among tourist as well as locals. Once there, you can recharge at the inn known for a delicious local cuisine. Cross-country ski enthusiasts can set off from Lake Plan\u0161ar, beside which an ice-skating rink is set up every winter. In recent years, Jezersko has become a cross-country ski center, with 15 kilometers of well-groomed trails. Others find fun exploring the area on snowshoes or on a sledding run.<\/p>\n\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t<\/div>\n\n\t

Its consumption is especially recommended for people suffering from cardiovascular diseases, while in neighboring \u017delezna Kapla and Germany it is also used medically as a bath. Today, the water once again enjoys the attention it deserves thanks to the Jezersko tourist industry, which promotes its use for the purposes of tourism.<\/p>\n\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t<\/div>\n\n\t

Below the northern wall of Mount Grintovec stands the oldest mountain lodge in Slovenia, the Czech Lodge, which retains its original character.<\/h4>\n\t

It was built by the Czech branch of the Slovenian Mountaineering Club. Its exterior resembles a typical Czech farmhouse adorned with some of the decorative elements found in Jezersko. It was built over the course of one year out of local larch. The lodge can be accessed via a relatively easy trail, only the final part of which requires hiking equipment and fitness. Alternatively, you can reach it via the first ferrata climbing path in the Slovenian Alps.<\/p>\n\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t<\/div>\n\n\t
